Step 1: Make sure you meet the basic requirements
The basic requirements to get an Oklahoma real estate license are simple. Do you meet these requirements?
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are a US citizen, or have the legal right to work in the US
- The state determines that you have good moral character (this relates to any past or present criminal or civil action that has been taken against you)
Step 2: Register for real estate licensing classes
A real estate license is required for most real estate jobs. Oklahoma requires 90 hours of pre-licensing education (or six approved real estate credit hours from a college or university) before they will let you get a real estate license.

Step 3: Apply to take the Oklahoma real estate exam
You can apply to take the Oklahoma real estate exam after you have completed the licensing education requirements. The Oklahoma real estate exam fee is $60. PSI Exams manage the state exam process and you can take the exam in any PSI location in the US.
Step 4: Complete the Oklahoma real estate license application
The application will ask you some basic questions about you and your background, including any other real estate licenses you have held or currently hold. The Oklahoma license application fee is $75.
