A real estate license is required for most real estate jobs. Massachusetts has requirements you must fulfill before they will let you get a real estate license. None of them are difficult, but they must be completed before you can start your real estate career.
You are required to complete 40 hours of pre-license courses before you can take the state exam. Once you have completed those 40 hours, you have six months to take the exam or you will have to take the course again.
The examination fee is $150, and you will receive your Massachusetts license on the spot when you pass the exam.
